The School of Economics and Business Administration & Legal Studies of the International Hellenic University invites you to the next presentation in the Research Seminar Series.

Alessandro Zattoni, Professor of Strategy at Luiss University will present the topic of “Presentation of Corporate Governance: An International Review”

The purpose of the Research Seminar Series is to bring together the academic and business community by presenting contemporary research topics in Finance, Business, Marketing, Accounting and Economics, among others. Through these seminars, as an international centre of knowledge, innovation and research, at the crossroads of Southern Europe, the IHU attempts to further strengthen its strategic role in academic excellence. Drawing on the experience of outstanding Greek and international academics, working papers are presented on a regular basis, with the aim of establishing a meeting point for active researchers.

Speaker information:

Alessandro Zattoni is Professor of Strategy at Luiss University. He is also Professor of Corporate Governance and Strategy and Associate Dean for the Executive education and lifelong learning at LUISS Business School. He is Editor-in-Chief with Praveen Kumar of Corporate Governance: An International Review and an editorial board member of Journal of Management Studies and Journal of Management & Governance. His primary research interest is corporate governance, with a focus on board of directors, codes of good governance, business groups, and executive compensation. He published several books, book chapters, teaching cases and articles in Italian and international journals.

The session will present key facts and figures about CGIR and will provide participants with some insights on how to publish in the journal.

We would like to invite you to the 1st workshop of ’60 minutes with Tourism Executives’ entitled ‘Thessaloniki – City Tourism’, which will be held on Wednesday 25th of November at 21:00 at TOMS Flagship Store.

The Workshops ’60 minutes with Tourism Executives’ consist of hourly business talks by Tourism Executives from well-known companies, related to hospitality and tourism management issues. The purpose of the Workshops is to act as a link between the academic community and businesses by introducing you to the real world of business and showing you how the notions and techniques learnt in the classroom apply and materialize in the Greek and the International business context. After all, you will get a better taste of the hospitality & tourism world.

The Workshops are offered primarily to the ‘MSc in Hospitality & Tourism Management’ students.
