As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the department. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization, communication and imports.

Job Description:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Maintain contact with all overseas suppliers
  • Liaising with the Warehouse, Sales and other relevant departments to determine items to order.
  • Expediting/routine follow up on status of goods to ensure that suppliers meet delivery promises
  • Tracking of incoming shipments
  • Liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs
  • Expediting inspection of goods received
  • Notifying Suppliers on short-shipped, over supplied and faulty items received and taking the necessary action
  • Filing and keeping records of all imports documents

Requirements:

  • Min 2 years of administrative or assistant or import/export experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek language
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
