We take great pleasure in announcing that the International Hellenic University has organized, together with its students, a number of ‘IHU Social Clubs’, which are free of charge for all IHU students & alumni! All the clubs meet once per week on the IHU premises!
Photography Club: A professional photographer provides our students with a series of photography seminars. They have just taken their first portrait photographs! We are looking forward to their first photo exhibition too!
Yoga club: A professional Yoga teacher guides students through an intensive yoga programme for both body and spirit! ‘IHU Fitness Tuesday’: The International Hellenic University has set a ‘fitness’ day during the week, when the Dance and Yoga clubs take place. Moreover, the IHU Coffee House offers a ‘Fitness menu’! Students are thus assured moments of exhilaration and well-being!
Language-exchange Club: The International Hellenic University provides its students with the opportunity to learn foreign languages. Greek, Russian and Spanish have already begun; German and French follow!
Museum Club: The School of Humanities in cooperation with the IHU Museum Club is planning a series of visits to a variety of interesting attractions. On Saturday, 1st December, students visited the exhibition “The Sunset of the East”, in the context of the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Thessaloniki, at the Cultural Centre of MIET. More visits will be forthcoming!
International Food Club: As an international university, we would like to give our students the opportunity to meet new cultures through their tastes and music. The International Food club organized the ‘IHU Christmas event’ for which students prepared fingerfood style dishes from their favourite cuisine, had fun with International Karaoke and exchanged gifts! More international nights will follow! Stay tuned to Facebook!
