The International Hellenic University in collaboration with the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki participated in a formal visit to Armenia which took place from 29/6 to 3/7 under the auspices of the well-established Erasmus-Mundus program.

The three host universities (Armenia State University of Economics, Yerevan State University and Armenia State Agrarian University) extended a very cordial welcome to IHU's representative.

The visit gave the IHU an excellent opportunity to hold an information session for potential candidates for the Erasmus Mundus scholarships in Armenia. The presentation of IHU's postgraduate programmes gained the attention of the many students who participated in the event and who subsequently asked for further details regarding our programmes.

Apart from the educational dimension of our visit, an opportunity was provided for the establishment of contacts between fifteen companies of Northern Greece and the local business community.

Additionally, good contact was made with the Greek Diaspora Community in Armenia and the foundations have been set for a fruitful future cooperation.
