The School of Economics and Business Administration organized a highly successful Career Day for the students of the School on Friday, 11th December 2009 at Nikopolis Thessaloniki Hotel.

The Career Day was designed to give our students an efficient way to meet some of the key recruiters within the sectors of Management, Banking, Finance, Accountancy and Consultancy. Our aim was to help both our students and recruiting companies by providing them with the opportunity to meet and discuss recruitment plans and practices.

Eleven (11) leading companies participated: Advice Management Consultants SA, Alumil SA, Deloitte Business Solutions SA, Eurobank EFG, Isomat SA, KPMG Certified Auditors SA, Marfin Egnatia Bank, Planet SA, Pyramis Metallurgy SA, Titan SA, Viohalco SA.

Students took advantage of this opportunity to network with these high-profile employers, get information on job openings available, find out more about the skills sought by employers and learn how to make the most of their job applications.

They spoke with representatives to find out what employers expect from applicants and gained useful tips and advice about the application and selection process. Both company representatives and students enjoyed the casual and friendly atmosphere of the cocktail reception which followed.
