The International Hellenic University presented its new postgraduate programmes at a press conference in Athens on Thursday, 2 February 2012, at the Onassis Cultural Centre of the Onassis Foundation.

The Chairman of the Governing Board, Professor Costas Grammenos, presented the achievements of the university since its establishment in 2005 and went on to introduce the new postgraduate programmes which will be available to students from October 2012. Professor Grammenos stressed that the International Hellenic University operates "according to international standards, as this is the only way to claim a position in the international arena".

The Mayor of Thessaloniki, Mr Yiannis Boutaris, expressed the support of the Municipality of Thessaloniki for the University.

Then followed the presentation of the three Schools by the respective Deans, the School of Economics and Business Administration by the Deputy Chairman Professor Nicolas Moussiopoulos, the School of Science and Technology by Professor Ioannis Vlahavas, and the School of Humanities by Professor Vasilis Gounaris. The new postgraduate programmes relating to Law were introduced by Member of the Governing Board, Professor Athanassios Kaissis.
