The International Hellenic University welcomed its fifth intake of new students on the Executive MBA programme. On Friday, 27 January 2012, the students – business executives and professional people from banks and other organisations – gathered for the first time on the premises of the University in Thermi. The duration of studies is two years and the lessons follow a very flexible programme with classes taking place over 16 weekends, from Friday to Sunday. The team of professors teaching at the EMBA is comprised of internationally renowned figures from leading Business Schools in the UK, the USA and Greece. Participants in this year's cycle of Executive MBA come from Albania, Bulgaria, FYROM, Greece, Romania and Serbia, with the percentage of international to Greek students reaching 35%. This multi-cultural mosaic is the guarantee for the creative exchange of ideas and cooperation among students, executives, businesses and by extension between countries. The new students were welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Governing Board of the International Hellenic University, Professor Nicolas Moussiopoulos. The next intake of new students for the Executive MBA will be in January 2013.
