Telecommunications

Telecommunications can be considered as the most important factor that has enabled the technological growth of today’s economy. Enormous amount of data (voice, text and multimedia) is delivered in real time every day through wired and wireless infrastructure to enable growth in all sectors of the economy. Telecommunications is a scientific domain of great importance and research to more advanced communication platforms is required to sustain the advancements that have been achieved until today. At International Hellenic University we focus our research mainly in the area of wireless communications providing expertise in modelling of communication channels, radio propagation algorithms, radio planning algorithms, audio and image processing and multimedia content management.
