Prof Keith Pilbeam

Keith Pilbeam is a Professor of International Economics and Finance at City University, London. He teaches on the international programmes of Boston University and has been a visiting Professor at the European University Institute in Florence and teaches at the CASS Business School in London. He has worked for NatWest Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland and consults for a number of city financial institutions. He also advises the UK Foreign Office on international economic issues. He is President of the International Economics and Finance Society (www.iefs.org.uk) and also Treasurer to the European Economics and Finance Society (www.eefs.org). He also sits on the editorial board of the International Journal of Financial Services Management.

His research interests lie the field of International Economics and Finance and he has published widely in well known Economics Journals such as Oxford Economics Papers, the International Journal of Finance and Economics, Applied Economics, the Journal of Policy Modeling, the Journal of Economic Integration and the International Review of Applied Economics. He is author of three well known books; Exchange Rate Management Theory and Evidence, International Finance and Finance and Financial Markets (all Palgrave Macmillan).
