Dr Daniel Giamouridis
Dr Daniel Giamouridis is an Assistant Professor (Elect.) of Finance at the Department of Accounting and Finance in the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Cass Business School (London/UK) and a Research Associate at the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre (Nice/France).
Dr Giamouridis’ areas of research include derivatives and quntititatιve asset management. His work has been published in academic journals such as the European Financial Management, Journal of Alternative Investments, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Derivatives, Journal of Futures Markets, Journal of Risk and has received awards and grants from professional as well as academic bodies. Dr Giamouridis is a frequent speaker at international conferences. He works closely with industry specialists in pursuing research that is academically rigorous, educational and caters the finance business community.
Daniel Giamouridis, who graduated from the School of Mechanical and Marine Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, holds a PhD in Finance from the Cass Business School.
